PART 6: COLLAPSE/CONCLUSION – TEACHINGS ABOUT FALSE SHEPHERDS WHOSE SINFULNESS LEADS HOMES AND COMMUNITIES INTO RUIN
.
Do Not Become This Man
.
As the better Priest ushers the Beloved into the sanctuary, guiding them away from the gathering storm of the Tribulation fomenting beyond the doors, there is a rascal in the shadows, a bored and self-discouraged Priest, who cares only for himself.
.
The Apostle Paul warned the Congregation of Corinth how bad pastors emulate the dark ways of outside errant overseers in failing to care for or protect the flock but promises that they will pay for their wickedness.
.
Ignored as insignificant, the lowly will come to be numbered with the sources of the resultant societal/church decay as the levers of confusion that brings down these men. Chaos, and “the things that are not” will reduce sinister ministers with their lapsed calling to nothing.
“For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord” (1 Corinthians 1:26-31).
Please read the upcoming section very carefully because it will help you comprehend what kind of Minister you would be if you wearied in well doing and lapsed in morality while being confronted with the details of discord discussed in the next few pages.
.
Know that such narcissists scatter the people. They neglect pastoral care in favor of self-serving leadership. The Old and New testaments have spelled out the types of duplicitous attitudes over these 3,000 years.
.
You as the new Priest or Minister must do the opposite of what is denounced in God’s Word below and learn from the examples of ruin and blight within the pages behind and ahead of us.

Neglecting and Scattering the Flock . . .
.
Jeremiah 23:1-2: “Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord… Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them.”
.
Ezekiel 34:2-4: “Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock. The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken… but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.”
.
Ezekiel 34:5-6: “And they were scattered, because there was no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered. My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.”

Blind Guides Leading People Astray . . .
.
Isaiah 9:16: “For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.”
.
Jeremiah 50:6: “My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.”
.
Matthew 15:14: “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”
.
2 Peter 2:1-3: “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.”
